Warming Up!

It seems to be warming up a bit more each day, which is fine with me. I don't deceive myself into thinking we won't have any more 20 or 30 degree days, but they'll be fewer. I really want a 60+ day soon so I can spray and kill off all the vegetation in the oval-shaped piece of ground in the center of our turn-around in front of the house: We want to plant groundcovers there and first I need to kill everything (weeds and grass) and then roto-till the soil.

Today Barbara and I are meeting with a local remodeler to hear his ides about remodeling Rachel's bathroom. Seems it's taken forever for him to get the plan ready, which doesn't portend well of his ability to get the job done. Bathfitter, on the other hand, will do it all in one day. Cost may be a big factor, but we'll see.

I have gotten through about half of my 35mm transparencies so far and have most of the scans already uploaded to my Fotki site. The remaining slides are mainly my Scouting pictures, so they'll be just as much fun to go through. I haven't even started on the unprinted negatives or actual prints yet, and there are several boxes of them. I'll be at this for a while.
