Those Were The Days

Those were the days (my friend) was in my mind as I woke up this morning. The song is best known for the recording by Mary Hopkin in 1968.

Today dawns cloudy and a bit cool, so it looks like a day to work in the house or the garage. I have plenty of projects to do in either...or both! For one, I need to get the VW checked-over (fluids, tires, etc.) for Barbara and Rachel's trip to Murray (KY) tomorrow.

I'll probably get distracted somewhat trying out my new scanner with some 35 mm slides, and maybe some with some genealogy.
