Update on Recovering from the Ice Storm of 2009

A number of correspondents have asked how we fared with the recent ice storm. We were quite lucky here; around town a few branches down and a few prolonged power outages, but here at home we were without power only for about 2 hours. I ran across this post on one of the blogs I regularly follow, Unusual Kentucky, and thought it was worth sharing
