Weekend, almost!

Well, it's turned out to be a fairly pleasant, although somewhat chilly, afternoon today. I went to Lowe's and bought some Roundup to kill off all the vegetation on the south side of the house where we want to plan perennial groundcover flowers and plants, and in the area of the back yard where we will plant our 10 x 12 foot garden.

Barbara had a follow-up visit with the eye surgeon today, and he reports it all looks good. We hope this will help overcome the retinal deterioration she has experiences; this and the cataract surgery she had a month or so ago!

Sunday, Rachel & Barbara are going to drive to Murray, KY, to have their hair done by the stylist whom they used to see back in Illinois. Seems like a long drive to me, but it's their dime and time. Guess I can, therefore, loaf all day Sunday. Actually, I have plenty to do!

My new Canon scanner arrived today, so I will get it set up and get busy scanning my 35 mm slides, as well as my pictures and negatives.
