"I got a name", as recorded by the late Jim Croce is the song of the morning.
"...And I carry it with me and I sing it loud,
If it gets me nowhere, Ill go there proud..."
I spent time last night uploading more pictures to my Flickr Photostream , and Barbara and I transferred our frozen foods from the old to the new freezer. (Sarah & Dave: You can come get the old one anytime!) Yesterday, I also went around the yard taking softwood cuttings from a number of our various varieties of holly bushes to start new plants. Holly here makes a good border plant and they're pretty trouble-free, other than pruning to shape periodically.
Today I'll probably work some more on the many, many boxes of 35mm transparencies I want to get sorted and scanned.
"Preserve your memories; they're all that's left you.."
"Bookends" by Paul Simon on the album Bookends (1972)
Tomorrow, Barbara and I will drive to Nashville as she has a doctor's appointment there tomorrow morning, and then in the afternoon a contractor is coming by to prepare an estimate on replacing the tub/shower in Rachel's bathroom. Overall, a busy day!
